Travellers seeking to make their relaxed vacation more enjoyable must visit the city.

With the turning of New Delhi into a multi-cultural metropolitan city, the wide range of tourist attractions in New Delhi has made the city’s glorious past come alive.

Delhi is segregated into Old and New Delhi based on the year of constructions.
Old Delhi ogives you a wide range of palaces, places and parks for tourists like the beautiful red fort, silver street of Chandni Chowk, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Shantivan (resting places of the Mahatma Gandhi and Indira Gandhi, respectively), Humayun's Tomb and the tallest monument of India - Qutub Minar.

Meanwhile, New Delhi is a city of modern era designed by many British designers during the British Raj.

It houses spacious government’s buildings and complexes, in addition to Bahai Temple (Lotus Temple), the remarkable India Gate and Whitehouse of India- Rashtrapati Bhawan and other historical monuments including tombs of Mughal Emperors.

The refreshing City:

New Delhi revolves along the Raashtrapati Bhaawan. With an imperial architecture, the building is the residence of Indian President. A stretch of land connecting the Rashtrapati Bhawan to the India Gate is known as Rajpath, Republic day parade is held here annually.

Some more New Delhi Tourist Attractions:

The Purana Quila (Old Fort) is an excellent example of medieval military architecture. Constructed by Humayun, and later modified by Sher Shah Suri, the Purana Quila with its strong, clear-cut and bold design truely defines a fortress.

It stands apart from the well-planned palatial forts built by the later Mughal rulers. The objective of this now- decaying fort was its utility, with less emphasis on decoration.

Humayun's Tomb is an unforgettable New Delhi attractions, as it defines the spirit of the city.

Humayun’s wife built the tomb, after the death of his husband. Persian architect- mirza ghyas embellished it, and completed the monument in 1565.

It is believed that this monument set the stage for Mughal rulers and sultans.
